Large Russian attack: Ukraine reports 174 drones and two Zircon missiles
Ukraine's Air Force reported 174 drones and two Zircon missiles overnight into 19 September. It said 141 aerial targets were intercepted or suppressed; regional officials reported deaths and injuries.
Both parties to the conflict are presented separately, followed by a factual neutral assessment.
Ukrainian account
Ukraine said the Odesa and Kyiv regions were the main targets. It reported impacts at 15 locations and debris at nine, while both Zircon missiles allegedly missed their targets.
Russian account
Russia's Defence Ministry said two commercial vessels in the Black Sea were hit with Geran-4 drones because they carried military cargo for Ukraine. That stated purpose has not been independently confirmed.
Neutral editorial assessment
Several newsrooms report the scale of the attack citing Ukraine's Air Force. Casualty figures and claims about the military use of individual targets come from conflict parties and remain partly unverified independently.
