Ukrainian account

Zelenskyy calls restarting the negotiating process important. He says territorial questions must be resolved at leaders’ level, while Kyiv seeks security guarantees and a strong Ukrainian army.

Russian account

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov says Moscow does not rule out renewed trilateral talks with Ukraine and the United States. He says it is too early to name a venue or date and gives no detail on the hardest disputes.

Neutral editorial assessment
